Kent was born and raised in Kamloops. In 1986, he relocated to the Lower Mainland, married his wife Jennifer and started his career in real estate.  Kent, Jen and their son Dan, a recently licensed REALTOR®, enjoy the many activities that the Shuswap offers, from skiing and snowmobiling in the winter to boating, sailing, biking and golfing in the summer.  Dex and Sammy, the furry boys, are three and a half year old Labradoodles, and they have continued to inject a lot of energy into the Redekop home.  They are 70-pound lap dogs and the words “they’re comin’ in hot” have definitely been said more than once!
